“Women’s Day Celebration - 2024”

Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) organized an Event for the International Women’s Day Celebration with the motto ”Awareness about Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment” on 8th March 2024.

The purpose of celebrating this day was to promote peace alongside women’s rights. While every day acknowledges women’s importance, this specific day is designated to honour all women and their achievements.

The Inauguration Ceremony was graced by the presence of Vice Chairman, Secretary, special guests Dr.Meera Mohan, Dr.Revathi, Mrs.Geetha, faculty, staff members and students.

Miss.J,Niranchanadevi, extended a warm welcome to all attendees and emphasized the importance of respecting and valuing women. She also talked about the goals of the Internal Complaint Committee: Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplaces during her speech. Chief guest Dr.Meera Mohan mentioned that women represent kindness, care, and wisdom and should never give up on their uniqueness.

The students enthusiastically participated & showcased their talent in Poster Making Competition and Ensemble Speaking Challenge.

At the end, the prize distribution ceremony for the winners of the competition was organized. The program was successfully concluded with a vote of thanks by Miss. Sangavi, Student Chief Coordinator.
